This year for the Clear Lake 4th of July Parade, Don & Andrew Snyder restored a truck that was similar to what Dean used back in his early days of DSC. They fixed it up, and Dean rode with Andrew through the parade. They even have his original phone number on the side: Fleetwood 7-2283. (Before the late 1960’s, towns used “telephone exchange names” or full words in order to help switch board operators identify the switching system to which a telephone was connected.)
